Born and raised in Nashville, Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Belmont University followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. Taylor spent a year in graduate school as an intern at NOATC receiving training in treating OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.
Taylor takes a person-centered approach to therapy, firmly believing in the power of the therapeutic relationship. As for therapeutic modalities, he integrates evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to tailor interventions to each client’s individual needs.
Taylor is passionate about supporting individuals navigating perfectionism, OCD, social anxiety, relationship anxiety, and other challenges. He is dedicated to helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and supporting them on their journey toward acceptance and healing.
In his free time, Taylor enjoys playing sports with friends, watching live music, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. Go Titans!
