Clinical Postdoctoral Associate

The Nashville OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Postdoctoral Associate to join our team. While we expect to fill the position for the 2023-2024 academic year, we will accept applications from candidates whose circumstances necessitate an earlier or later start date. This position will provide extensive training in evidence-based treatments for OCD, anxiety, and related disorders and will give applicants an opportunity to provide individual and group services both in person and virtually. In addition to our commitment to evidence-based practice, we value compassion, creativity, and collaboration.

The Postdoctoral Associate will accrue hours toward full licensure in the state of Tennessee, carrying a caseload of approximately 20 clinical contact hours per week. One hour of weekly individual supervision with Amy Mariaskin, PhD, and one hour of group supervision with a multidisciplinary team will be provided on a weekly basis. Primary responsibilities include conducting phone screenings for potential clients, performing psychodiagnostic assessments for incoming clients, providing individual therapy, maintaining documentation, and participating in didactics and clinical team meetings. Other potential opportunities may include participation in community outreach events, and presenting at local and national conferences.

Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. citizens who have completed an APA-approved doctoral program and internship in clinical, counseling, or school psychology. Clinical experience with individuals across the lifespan using a Cognitive Behavioral framework is required, and experience with Exposure and Response Prevention and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is preferred. Prior to the starting the position, applicants must obtain a provisional license to practice in the state of Tennessee.

Intake Coordinator

The Nashville OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center (NOATC) is seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator (30-40 hours/week) to join our team in Brentwood, TN. The NOATC offers evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults affected by OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. The Intake Coordinator must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented, and possess strong organizational abilities. Passion for supporting individuals with anxiety, OCD, and related mental health concerns a strong plus. This position will begin in December of 2024.

The Intake Coordinator works with clinical leadership and the administrative team to:
- maintain waitlist and potential client database
- collaborate with the clinical team to facilitate the best client/clinician match
- schedule intake appointments by phone
- enter client data into our electronic medical records system
- answer questions about our clinical services and policies
- provide feedback to the administrative team regarding process refinement
- track metrics regarding new client flow and screening outcomes
- complete other administrative duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits:

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field required
- Master’s degree or current enrollment in Master’s program preferred
